For more than 20 years, Kristen has worked with plants, herbs, and natural approaches to healing, but her path to Sacred Humboldt has been anything but conventional.
After building a career in business, marketing, web development and SEO, Kristen left that world behind and moved to Humboldt County with a completely different purpose: to grow medicine. What began as a desire to cultivate clean cannabis and make high-quality RSO became a much bigger journey into herbalism, regenerative growing, plant medicine, consciousness, frequency, healing and the many ways our bodies communicate with us. She’s now bringing together all her life’s experience on a mission to help others remember their own innate ability to heal themselves.
She had to learn how to heal herself first though, and now she’s finally seeing why it all happened the way it did. And all that led her to where she is now- in Humboldt County, growing plants and about to open her first healing center and launch a nonprofit (Operation RSO) which will be giving RSO to Veterans and people fighting serious illness, for free. Kristen believes some of our greatest teachers are the plants, the earth, our own minds and bodies, and the experiences that force us to look deeper. Her own experiences with healing changed the way she understood illness and ultimately shaped the vision for Sacred Humboldt and Operation RSO.
Today, her work is centered around helping people become active participants in their own healing. Whether she’s teaching someone how to grow a plant from seed, make their own oil, work with herbs, explore the connection between the emotional and physical body, or discover healing tools they never knew existed, her goal is the same: give people knowledge, options, and the confidence to find what works for them.
Sacred Humboldt is the culmination of that journey. It’s New Earth. It’s a place where ancient wisdom, sacred plant knowledge, modern tools, community, and a little Humboldt magic come together.
